Aqua Oasis Privacy Policy was created to define the privacy of personal and sensitive information provided to us. When you access the Aqua Oasis website or use any product or service, you should understand when and how personal information is obtained, used, disclosed, and protected.
 

Who we are

Aqua Oasis is a supplier of quality Irrigation and Plumbing Products, servicing the South West of Western Australia. With many years of experience in the industry, we strive on providing a great service at affordable prices. We can source most products and will increase our range to cater for all your needs. We offer a mobile service, delivering straight to you in the local Bunbury area (conditions apply) and can deliver further away for a small fee.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

Privacy Protection Act for Minors

The Aqua Oasis website is organized to provide the visitor with pertinent and valuable information related to our products and services. While the entire website is built for viewing by any individual and is appropriate for any age, it is not designed to attract and/or collect information from children under the age of 18. Our website is intended as an informational source of our products and services and does not provide objectionable or subjective material unsuitable for minors.

Notice of Change

Aqua Oasis will update, change, modify, and/or revise our Policy as necessary based on changes in our current business practices, structures, and/or associations and the constantly changing landscape of the Internet. When and if our Policy changes, we will post a notice of this change 30 days before implementation of such change. In the event that the information you provided us will be used differently than what was originally stated at the time you provided the information, we will post notice of these changes and give you the option of exiting out of the proposed changes. It is your responsibility to check for any updates to our Policy and notify us of your intentions concerning use of your personal information.

Returns / Refunds

Any compensation given to the customer will be refunded in a timely manner. Any returns will need to be in 100% sellable condition or as the product was supplied to them. Once a quote has been approved from the customer and converted into an invoice, any cancellations will incur a 35% restock fee.

For warranty claims, the product must be sent to us at the customers expense. We will then send it to get checked and determine if the warranty is valid. Installing products in the wrong way or misuse of the product may void warranty.

Delivery of purchased items

Aqua Oasis will deliver the order personally in Bunbury and the local surrounding area (min spend $99.00, excludes large/bulky items). Once you have approved our quote and the invoice has been made, the job has been paid for with your delivery details supplied to us, we will deliver to you. Orders may take 1-3 days subject to stock availability. You can also elect to pick up the items in a specified location. Please contact us if you would prefer this.
